Madyn Waskiewicz (She/Her, Dartmouth, MA) began her dance training at the age of 3 at New Bedford Ballet. During her time there she trained extensively in ballet, pointe, and modern techniques. At NBB she had the honor of performing roles such as The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Little Swan in Swan Lake. At age 17, she was invited to dance with the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago as a Trainee under the direction of Katlin Bourgeois, Oğulcan Borova, Raúl Casasola, and Karin Ellis-Wentz. In her time there she had the honor of working with and performing works of choreographers such as Martha Nichols, Katlin Bourgeois, Johana Gracia-Morales, and Anne O’Donnell Passero. She is extremely excited to continue her dance career this year as a trainee with Saint Louis Dance Theatre!
