Cici Kai

Administrative Assistant

CiCi Kai (They/Them), born in St. Louis, MO, began their dance journey at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) under the guidance of Lee Nolting, Alicia Graf Mack, Jennifer Welch Cudnik, Antonio Douthit-Boyd, and Kirven Douthit-Boyd. CiCi attended Boston Conservatory at Berklee and received their B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance Performance in May 2024. They graduated with Dean's List honors and received the Dance Division Faculty Scholar Award. During their time at Boston Conservatory, CiCi was mentored by Kurt Douglas, Brian McGinnis, Ruka Hatua-Saar White, Jim Viera, Daniel McCusker,Alissa Cardone, Denise Pons-Leone, Dean Vollick, and Olivier Besson. They performed in Jawole Willa Jo Zollar’s “Shelter,” restaged by Maria Bauman, and Crystal Perkins’ “Marigold and Starshine,” as well as in student choreographed works by Mira Göksel, Ava Grebe and Dawvyn Winters, all on the main stage. Additionally, CiCi served as a Dance Summer Intensive Assistant at Boston Conservatory for two summers. Transitioning from their diverse college experience, CiCi has embraced a new role as a Company Administrative Assistant for Saint Louis Dance Theatre.
