Demetrius Lee moved to St. Louis to join Saint Louis Dance Theatre in 2024 after touring Europe with Rock The Ballet under Adrienne Carterna-Martinez's direction. Demetrius began his training at age 10 at Cleveland Inner-City Ballet, later studying at Cleveland School of the Arts and Tri-C Creative Arts Academy. He graduated from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee in May 2024 with a BFA in Dance on a full scholarship.

His professional development includes summer intensives with San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and American Dance Festival. Demetrius has performed works by Christopher Huggins, Darrell Moultrie, Kay Eichman, Deshona Pepper-Robinson, Crystal Perkins, Troy Powell, Jennifer Archibald, Bill T. Jones, Thang Dao, Avree Walker, and Dwight Rhoden.
