Jada Vaughan moved to St. Louis to join Saint Louis Dance Theatre after graduating from USC's Glorya Kaufman School of Dance with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Jada began her training at the Edge School of the Arts in Queens, studying Modern, West African, Hip Hop, and Tap. She developed her artistry through MOVE|NYC|'s inaugural Young Professionals Program under Chanel DaSilva and Nigel Campbell, and studied Ballet and Horton at The Ailey School's Junior Division Program.

At USC Kaufman, she performed works by Kyle Abraham, Hope Boykin, Tyce Diorio, Roderick George, Jiří Kylián, Dwight Rhoden, Micaela Taylor, Paul Taylor, and Doug Varone while deepening her study of Black vernacular and social dance practices. Her professional development includes training at The School at Jacob's Pillow's 2023 Contemporary Performance Ensemble and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's CREATE Summer Intensive, where she earned the Inaugural Summer Intensive Fellows Program Award. This led to a residency with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago during their 2023-2024 season for a world premiere creation.

Jada is dedicated to bridging African Diasporic and Contemporary dance and providing platforms for culturally and socially relevant artists.
