Kyla Kikkawa

Marketing Coordinator

Kyla Kikkawa (she/her) is an emerging artist from Altadena, CA. She graduated from the Psychological & Brain Sciences Department at Washington University with a major in Cognitive Neuroscience and a double minor in Spanish and Human-Computer Interaction. Kyla lives for the healing power of movement, but her passion for music and performance has also led her to play music as a form of therapy in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Managua, Nicaragua. She is an educator of neurodiverse and neurotypical youth, older adults, and adults in various communities. Here in St. Louis, Kyla strives to be an active uplifter of the city and a player in the explosion of a more interconnected and truly passionate dance community. Kyla is a proud member of the St. Louis KRUMP community, Arch Maddnezz, Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective, and Kode Redd Dance Company. Ultimately, Kyla hopes to build bridges between art and science, particularly regarding the accessibility and definitions of distinct forms of knowledge of the body, mind, and soul.
