Spencer Everett (He/Him) from Stratford, Ontario, Canada, began his dance training at age four and was additionally mentored by former Cirque du Soleil artist Meaghan Wegg in circus arts and acrobatics. He trained at Elite Dance Center in Woodstock and attended Dance Arts Institute's summer program in Toronto. In 2018, he pursued a BFA at The Ailey School and Fordham University, performing at New York Fashion Week, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Memoria (2019, 2021, 2022), and at the Guggenheim Museum. He appeared in Cielo Elena, a dance film by Omar Roman De Jesus, commissioned by the Baryshnikov Arts Center. Spencer joined Ailey II as an apprentice during his senior year and graduated summa cum laude with honors in 2022 with a BFA In dance BA in Visual Arts.

As a dancer with Ailey II Spencer performed in U.S. and international tours at venues such as the Holland Dance Festival, The Joyce Theater, and New York City Center. He worked with choreographers William Forsythe, Robert Battle, Andrea Miller, Elizabeth Roxas-Dobrish, Baye & Asa, Francesca Harper, and performed Alvin Ailey's Revelations. As a guest artist, he performed with Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet, Pony Box Dance Theater, and FHP Collective, including The Reckoning commissioned by Ava Duvernay. He also performed in Susanne Bartsch’ Kunst and was featured in Omer Kaplan's exhibition at Art Basel Miami. Spencer directed movement for Lincoln Center's Search for Spring and performed in Nona Hendryx's *The Dream Machine*. In 2024, after two seasons with Ailey II, he joined Saint Louis Dance Theatre. As a choreographer, his work has been featured at Battery Dance Festival, Ailey Citigroup Theater, and Barnard College. He serves on Dancewave’s Artistic Advisory Council.
